This exciting professional culinary event is a three-day culinary symposium where the world's most influential and innovative chefs present the latest techniques and culinary concepts to their peers. Olive Oil from Spain will have a table in the Spain pavilion promoting the products to the attendees, chefs and sous chefs of New York's best restaurants. Product placement with chefs is also encouraged. Chefs Martin Berasategui, Albert Adrià and José Andrés will be representing Spain.There will also be an olive oil tasting, showcasing the different varietals, led by by the prestigious olive oil expert Alfonso Fernández López. |

The purpose of the Olive Oil from Spain showcases is to inspire chefs to create four to six tapas based around the common ingredient of olive oil from Spain. The chef's creations will then be served to a group of approximately 30 attendees, including 12-15 members of the media. The events will begin with an olive oil tasting, showcasing the different varietals led by Alfonso Fernandez Lopez. |

The theme this year will be Japan. During this conference we will highlight Spain's quality oils by participating in various panels and seminars. We will also have a display table with the participating brands for tasting. The conference is expected to attract 700 quality influential: journalists, cook book authors, chefs, retailers. |
